Actress Julia Fox’s new book ‘Down the drain’ is out and all her secrets are out as well as she bared all her heart, giving those who will read it a clear point of view of being a ‘Julia Fox’. From sex, drugs, shoplifting at a tender age, and of course dating Kanye West, the actress is showing the world what she has experienced in the past 33 years she’s been living.

In the book, from Simon and Schuster, Julia Fox talks about everything about her growing up in New York City where she learnt shoplifting and got a tattoo at the age of 12, to forming a heroin habit in her teen years, working as a dominatrix, landing her role in the Adam Sandler film Uncut Gems, Losing her best friend to an overdose, being a mother to Valentino, and finally dating the king of controversy Kanye West. Well…It’s a lot.

Here are some of the secrets she revealed in her book that you probably didn’t even know about her.

At the age of 6, Julia stole money from her dad and shoplifted at different stoles

‘Down the drain’ opens with Fox’s childhood which was based in NYC after leaving her mother and younger brother in Italy and moving to NYC with her dad at the age of 5. Julia says she and her dad were broke and the only way she could get what she wanted was stealing from stores.

“The only way to get what I wanted was to take it.” She wrote.

The actress first tried marijuana at the age of 11

Fox admitted that her life took a wild turn very quickly as she in middle school was best friends with ‘Ella’ who has a mother who was often drunk. Fox said that she and Ella found her mom having sex with her drugs supplier on the couch and he offered them some drugs and that’s how she ended up getting her high for the first time.

She describe the feeling of the high to have been “warm and fuzzy” and that her thoughts were linear that she could finally hear herself think.

Still on her best friend Ella, she says she also taught her to steal in order to appear richer.

She moved in with her boyfriend at 15, running away from home

Julia moved back to Italy for high school and she could come to NYC on vacation, where she tried ecstasy for the first time. While she loved it, she admits to have loved the guy who gave it to her more, who told her she would be his wife.

The two had a whirlwind affair that she ran from home to come and stay with him, only three weeks in and she saw her face of ‘missing person posters’ and her dad did his best to have her come back home.

At the age of 16, she says she tried Marijuana for the first time almost burning down the house with her lit joint. That was a beginning of an on-again, off-again addiction throughout her 20’s that got her overdosed and was saved by paramedics.

At 18, she became a dominatrix

She was hired by a man who told her she had the “Face of an angel” and at the job she was promised “No sex, no nudity”. At this Job, Fox collected enough dollars to rent her first apartment.

Kanye West asked if she could be his girl immediately after meeting her

Fox who describes Kanye West in her book as “The artist” wrote about how they met after he asked a friend of a friend for her number, and hand long, long phone calls until they met in person in Miami over New Year’s eve.

Kanye up on meeting, he asked her to be his girlfriend.

On the following dates they had, Fox saw the red flags and she didn’t ignore them as their relationship lasted for only about a month. Kanye was suggesting to completely change her wardrobe and offered a boob job to her if she wanted.

“I could get you a boob job if you want” he said.

Julia says those words stung and she refused the offer. Kanye West on meeting her for the date, brought her a new stylist who asked to meet in the restaurant bathroom to try on different outfits, all of which were variations of the same skintight, black jumpsuit.

Kanye West and Julia Fox dated for two months in early 2022, and Julia during her interview with the Los Angeles Times, said that she felt like a weapon formed against Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “I thought ultimately I would be helping a precarious situation, but I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized. I just felt like his little puppet.” She said.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West whom she shares four kids with in February 2021, and their separation was finalized in November 2022. Meanwhile 44-year-old Kanye West and the 31-year-old Uncut Gems actress met on the 2021’s New Year’s Eve at a surprise Miami performance. The pair went on a second date in New York City on January 6 2022. While the two were already being rumored to be dating, a couple days later on January 13th, the actress took it to her podcast, ‘Forbidden fruits’ to address the rumors and clear the air.

“There is no labels. None of that.” Fox said of her relationship with the rapper. On January 22, the pair wore matching denim-on-denim outfits for Paris Men’s fashion week. Two days later the then couple went twinsies again at Paris Fashion week, donning coordinating black leather outfits to the Schiaparelli show. January 28, the couple got engaged in the PDA where they shared their first Kiss. This came shortly after Kanye slammed his ex-wife Kim Kardashian for her onscreen mooch with SNL host Pete Davidson. “How you gonna bring me to SNL and then kiss the dude you dating right in front of me?” the rapper said on the Hollywood unlocked podcast which had been released on January, 24.

In February, on the 2nd, Kanye celebrated F0ox’s birthday along with her other friends. A few days later on February 7, Fox deleted all the photos of her and the rapper from her feed after her boyfriend and his ex-wife had a rocky weekend trending statements about their daughter North’s TikTok account.

On February 14, Julia Fox denied the rumors that she and the rapper had broken up. Sharing a screenshot of an article from Daily Mail, with the headline that read, “It’ all over for Kanye and Julia Fox! Tearful actress jets out of LAX alone after liking his ex-Kim Kardashian’s Instagram post and deleting all photos of the rapper.”

The actress slammed the publication for their story, saying, “Daily Mail, y’all are straight trash! I haven’t cried since 1997 and I especially wouldn’t cry over this.”
