Just days after Caitlyn Jenner said that she “really never talks” to her ex-wife Kris Jenner anymore, that any communication to be made between the two is handled by their managers, an insider has come forward to claim that Kris Jenner feels as though her ex-wife has died.
According to the insider, Kris Jenner is still struggling to come to terms with Caitlyn Jenner’s transformation from Bruce Jenner to who she is now.
The former Olympian transitioned from man to woman in 2015, coming out on the now infamous cover of Vanity Fair with the iconic ‘Call me Caitlyn’ cover line.
Her name and gender were legally changed in September of that year and she completed gender reassignment surgery in 2017.
Still-in-shock Kris Jenner who shares two celebrity daughters, Kendal Jenner, 27 and Kyle Jenner, 26, according to the insider, believes Caitlyn to be a ‘completely different person’ to the one she married in 1991 and that despite having shared life together once, they would now have trouble maintaining a conversation without it becoming awkward.
The insider told Daily Mail that “Kris is shill trying to deal with the transition.” Adding, “A man she feel in love with, and had kids with is no longer around, it is as if he is dead.”
The insider continued saying that since their children have now grown and living their own lives, Caitlyn and Kris really don’t have anything to talk about, that even if they got together, they’d probably talk about weather or it’d just be awkward, which matches Caitlyn’s recent confession that the two really never talk anymore.
“Everyone has their own lives and is just doing their own thing, so it’s rare that everyone gets together or talks, it’s just more of a hassle than anything else” the insider said.
Kris Jenner, 67, and Caitlyn Jenner, 73, were married from April 21, 1991 to March 23, 2015. The two according to Caitlyn in a recent interview have met on a blind date in 1990 and “it was love at first sight” according to the former Bruce Jenner.

The separation announcement took place two years before the former Olympian came out as transgender publicly. In November 2019, Esther Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner’s mom, made headlines after dissing the Kardashian’s reality TV show, saying that she doesn’t understand why the Kardashians are popular, branding Kris Jenner as “Hyper controlling” and said she made her daughter look “unassertive and spineless.”

A rep for the former athlete later revealed that Caitlyn doesn’t feel the same way that her mother does.
“Caitlyn’s team adamantly denies her mother’s claims as they do not represent Caitlyn’s sentiments or feelings towards the show or Kris Jenner.” The statement read at the time, adding that Caitlyn’s team was “Shocked” to hear her mother speaking to press, adding that Caitlyn has always said that the show is the best thing that has happened to her family.
In December 2019, Caitlyn Jenner told Daily Mail that her transition was not the cause for their split, saying that there were other million reasons that lead to their divorce. :”We built an amazing family, but circumstances and people change. — Our relationship didn’t work anymore and we mutually decided that it was time to split up. There was no animosity.” She said. Her claims were confirmed by their younger daughter, Kylie Jenner later in September 2020. The “Life of Kylie” alum made an appearance on Rob Lowe’s “Literally” podcast, where she revealed that her mother’s transition was not the reason for their split, revealing that “There was so many other big issues out there.”
In November 2021, the big brother VIP alum said that “Our relationship is OK” during a 2021 episode of the Australia competition. Kris later in April 2021, said the same thing about their relationship in an interview with ABC news. She said, “We’re fine. We’re friends.” In November 2022, during Kris’s family Thanksgiving feast, there were portraits painted in honor of all her children, grandchildren and in-laws and boyfriend Corey Gamble, and Caitlyn was also featured in the display.
